Crowd, fade Notes: This was a special show and one of the best recordings I’ve ever made, but have been hesitant to transfer due to its limitations. Sander’s Theatre is a wonderful venue with excellent acoustics. The interior is all hard wood built in the Greek Theatre style with a curved ceiling from behind the stage. The sounds projects so well, as if you are inside of a cello. Bela and the boys could not resist playing off mic, making it very difficult to record. And I had some technical difficulties with some channel dropouts. I was able to bring up the quiet parts in with the L3 multimaximizer and copy the right channel to the left for Magic Fingers. I was on the right side of the semicircle about 20 feet from the stage with the neumanns about 12 feet high off the floor on open view of the band, Bela signed my tape. When sound is good on this tape it is fantastic. They played a long set instead of taking a break and were called back for a second encore after the house lights came on and the PA started playing music to have Bela and Victor trade instruments for Sinister Minister and then back for the closing of the tune. This is an excellent recording of the early band when they were a trio. Enjoy! bfft-1993-11-22d101.flac:45ca8bf2790b18b4d5a0ad7ee7cd7815 bfft-1993-11-22d102.flac:2a6a6b5c36e6d012b61b23586e6fe0ca bfft-1993-11-22d103.flac:f09d1e5c43ca89b4490650b521fa61b2 bfft-1993-11-22d104.flac:faffaa3ffe2c72938aefa25f86a5f965 bfft-1993-11-22d105.flac:17413927bc846722d5e63de0a513261e bfft-1993-11-22d106.flac:23ab8e4775216057f95c16534d6fdc45 bfft-1993-11-22d107.flac:424f3b5d577673209192b2a6ade2eabb bfft-1993-11-22d108.flac:115e061d657129727003caefaa6bdbc5 bfft-1993-11-22d109.flac:62c3c30b4fcb8c6636b3ec683b352bb8 bfft-1993-11-22d110.flac:fae1c048c9b9bbc9b79700c5bbd2b3fe
